Meet Mrs. Flagg and her family...
I have been teaching at Craig Elementary School for eleven years. This is my seventh year in first grade. Before working at Craig Elementary I stayed at home with my daughters. I began my teaching career in Saratoga Springs, New York teaching kindergarten for three years. Then I moved to Atlanta, Georgia and taught in DeKalb County for five years. I taught first grade (1 year), kindergarten (3 years) and as a Reading Specialist for third- fifth grade for one year.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master's degree as a Reading Specialist. I received both of my degrees in New York state.
I have been married for 25 years to my husband Dan who operates his own business as a home inspector. I am the proud mother of three beautiful daughters. My oldest daughter, Kaitlyn, is long term substitute teaching at Brookwood High School for ACC Algebra and ACC Pre-Calculus . Ashley, my middle child, attends Oglethorpe University and is a sophmore. My youngest daughter, Megan, is a junior at Brookwood High School.
I love going to the beach, being at the lake, and visiting with my parents. I like to cook and bake with my daughters and watching movies as a family. I love teaching and trying new ideas to make the curriculum come alive for my students.
